Bedourie State School proudly acknowledges the achievements and journeys of our past students. Many have gone on to contribute meaningfully to their communities, workplaces and families both locally and beyond.
We celebrate their successes and the foundation they built here at Bedourie, knowing that our school has played an important role in shaping their futures.
We invite past students to stay connected with the school community, share their stories and inspire current students through reunions, newsletters and special events.
2025 marks 65 years of Outback Education at Bedourie State School. To celebrate, we are calling on all past students to share their stories. We will collate them into a book called, 'Bedourie State School Stories, 65 Years in the Making'.
If you would like to share, we require:
- 1–2 A4 pages of handwritten or typed text
- 1–3 photos.
Sharing your experiences at Bedourie State School and growing up in Bedourie, moving onto to secondary and where your life's journey has taken you as an adult can be in essay form, dot points, audio (for the school to type up) or scrapbook style.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 31 October 2025.
We can't wait to hear your stories!
